Eight thouivind acres of land have been selected on tho M'lvor rivor, which are considered superior for sugar-growing. William .Alcock Plumber has been fined £100 for having in his possession a still. John Newman was committed for trial for sonding a threatening letter to Sir Arthur Palmer.
