Tuebdat, Junb 7. (Before W. Donald, Esq, Chairman, J. T, Rouse, and J. D. M'Pherson, Esqrs, Commissioners.) Nbw License.— Bridget Cain made application for a wine and beer license for the Harp of Erin Boarding-house, London street, Mr Nalder appeared for the applicant. The police opposed the license, and the Benoh declined the application. Tbansmbs.— 'The following transfers were confirmed : — P. Connolly to John Robertson, British Hotel ; B. W. Grantham to B. G. Flundell, Albion Hotel. Renewals. — Tbe following licenses were renewed :— P. Barry, Cambridge Hotel, Lyttelton ; G. B. Dance, Wheatsheaf Hotel, Head of the Bay ; B. G. Flundell, Albion Hotel, Lyttelton ; J. B. Hill, Mitre Hotel, Lyttelton ; Charles Johnson, Victorian Dining Rooms wine and beor license ; H. Keane, Royal Hotel, Lyttelton ; M. Milburn, Whitecliff Hotel, Governor's Bay ; Mary Moynihan, Crown Hotol, Lyttelton ; John Robertson, British Hotel ; and W. J. Simmonda, Lyttelton Hotel. The granting of the licenses of the following hotels waa adjourned for 14 daya, to enable licensees to mako improvements such as painting, papering, ko. : — A. M'Donald, Canterbury Hotel ; John M'Quilkin, Railway Hotel ; P. O'Brien, Empire Hotel ; and E. Pymm, Ocean View Hotel, Governor's Bay.
