SYDNEY EXHIBITION.

A meeting of the Sydney Exhibition Commissioners waa held yesterday, whon the Chairman (Mr Nathan) reported that a number of gentlemen in Christchurch bad promised to send exhibits. It was shown that many persons had an objection to sending exhibits, unless somo one was sont specially to look after them, as many of the articles sent to tho Philadelphia Exhibition were neglected, and ifc was feared Canterbury interests might suffer in like mannor at Sydney. It was resolved to write to the Government, pointing out this, with a view to having some one appointed to take charge of the Now Zealand exhibits in Sydney.
