CHRISTCHURCH. This Dat. (Before his Worship the Mayor, T.W.Maude, A. Back, J. T. Brown, and R. Westenra, Esqs.) Vaobanot. — Mary Ann Greenwood and Mary Jane Streetly, two habitues of the dock, were brought up in custody, charged under the new Vagrant Act with having been guilty of unseemly conduct in the vicinity of the Theatre last night. Constable Eares proved the case. Greenwood being the oldest offender, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment with hard labour, and Streetly to three months.
