Badminton and Ping Pong Club.
There was a large attendance of members at the above Club’s opening night, held last evening. The President, Mr H. N. Freeman, occupied the chair, and stated that it was very pleasing to see so many new members present, and ho felt sure that they would get ft great deal of enjoyment out. of the game, as the number who had Biready joined, approximately thirty, would assure a successful season. He also wished to thank the ladies for the elaborate supnar provided. Arrangements had been completed for supper to be supplied throughout the season, which would, no doubt, add to the enjoyment of the evenings. The games were than continued until a late hour.
