Hockey
•Misses L. Tanner, J. Tanner, I. Cooney and N. Wilkins of the Te Puke Hockey Club, played for Rotorua in a hockey match on Saturday last between the Rotorua and Kerepeehi teams. In referring to the game, the Morning Post states that for Rotorua I. Cooney, M. Mitchell and E. Mitchell were the best of the forwards and J. Chaytor, T. Mitchell and N. Wilkins played well as halves. The two fullbacks, L. Tanner and L. Thomas were also ' very safe as also was J. Tanner in goal. At the conclusion of the match the visitors were tendered a dinner by the Rotorua Women’s Hockey Association in the Dolly Varden Tearooms.
