THE AUTUMN SHOW

The 27th Annual Autumn Show of the Te Puke’ Agricultural and Pastoral Association will be held on Wednesday next, and if no unforeseen circumstances arsie it should prove one of the most successful in the annals of the Society. The entries in dairy stock, and particularly in Jerseys, Eriesians and Shorthorns, are likely to create a record, whilst the display of fat stock will, it is anticipated, be better than for some years past. The light horse classes will be fairly well filled, hut the entries in draughts are not likely to be numerous. There will be a fair show of pigs, although the entries will not be as numerous as last year on account of two of the largest breeders being absent from' the district. Amongst the exhibitors in the cattle classes will be some from the Whakatane district. Many enquiries have been received from firms with regard to apace for industrial exhibits. Luncheon and afternoon tea will be available on ,the ground, the caterers being Messrs Cameron, Thomas and Tanner, of Tauranga. The train arrangements for the day are aa follows t—Leave Tauranga 13.30, returning from Te Puke at 5 o’olook, the train for Taneatua leaving at the same time
