TE PUKE RUGBY ONION
The usual weekly meeting of tha Te Puke Rugby Union was held last night at Hampson & licukey's office. Present: Messrs J, Scanlon (in chair), McKr-rzio, Bates, Cuff, and Hookey (secretary). The draw for \H pfcond round of the .competition resulted as follows :- Maketu v United on No. 1 Ground,-Referee; Mr Phelan. Rangiuru v Rangatawa on No. 2 Ground. -Referee: Mr I. Vercoe. TheTe Puke Cadet (Junior) Club were granted permission to play a match against the Taurar.ga Cadets on the 15th inst. Match to commence at 1.30 and finish at 2.45. Mr Howard was appointed referee. Messrs Scanlcp, Cuff, and Bates were appointed gate-keep-ers. It was decided that no team be permitted to play in fixtures unless the Club's, affiliation fees have first been paid. It was decided that an efficient barrier be erected to keep the public off the playing area. The matter was left in the hands of Mr McKenzie to arrange.
