The Government has decided to sell imported m'utton at 6d per lb. wholesale.
In order to relieve the glut of Australian and New Zealand mut ton, the Government has requested the Food Controller to resume responsibility for' the prices and the distribution of all imported meat, Mr McCurdy is consulting representatives of all sections of the |meat trade, and the committee's decisions will be announced next week.
