TE AROHA DEFEATS THAMES. The inter-club golf match betAveen Te Aroha and Thames, played on Saturday, resulted in a win lor Te Aroha by 7 matches to 3, 2 being all square. Following are the details, Te Aroha names being mentioned first in each case:— Ladies. —Mrs Halligan and Miss Kenny beat Mrs Nigby and Miss Price, 4 and 3; Mrs McDowell and Miss Revel] beat Mrs Richardson and Miss Nankivell, 4 and 3; Mrs Kenny and Miss Currie beat Miss Boles and Miss V. Miller, 3 and 2; Mrs Hepburn and Mrs McMillan beat Mrs Pease and Mrs McCarroll, 6 and 4; Mrs Frear and Miss CoAvley beat Miss Ensor and Mrs Harden, 3 and 2; Miss Bliss and Mrs Wyvorn lost to Mrs T.
