INCREASE IN PERMITS.
ERECTIONS VALUED AT £2713
Increased activity in building operations in Thames have taken place lately, as was shown by the list of building permits issued by the Borough Council, and reported on at Wednesday’s meeting of the Borougli Advisory Committee.
For the month it was shown that permits had been issued for buildings estimated to cost £2713/1/-. This included two dwelling houses of an estimated cost of £1505, and alterations and additions to two business premises, £1498. The balance was made up with garages, alterations to dwellings, and miscellaneous small jobs.
