PRODUCERS' CONFERENCE

HELD IN WELLINGTON. EESOLUTION PASSED. [By Telegraph. —Press Association] WELLINGTON, Sept. 22. A decision to establish a New Zea land Federation of Milk Producers was reached at a conference attended by representatives of milk producers’ organisations from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. Mr. J. J. Maher, chairman of the Wellington Dairy Farmers’ Co-operative Associa tion, Ltd., presided. The following resolutions were carried unanimously: “That this conference of milk producers’ representatives express the opinion that the cost of production should be the basis for the fixation of prices for the city milksupply”; and “That a conference of delegates be held at Wellington from time to time.”
