A NEW ROLE.
ACTING-PRIME MINISTER. WILL ACT AS JUDGE. AT MILKING COMPETITION. [By Teiegraph.-.-Press Association] WHANGAPEI, June 18. One of the highlights of the Winter Show Week here will be a cow-milking competition, in which the Mayor and other prominent members, of local bodies will compete. Further interest is added now that the Hon. P. Fraser, who will open the exhibition on June 29, has consented, after some persuasion, to act as judge.
