CAUSE OP INTERRUPTION

HAMILTON', Feb. 3
Interruption to the Arapuni transmission lines was caused by Hood waters entering a shaft where the two new units are being constructed. Men are remedying the trouble this morning.
The interruption affected Auckland but not the South Auckland and Thames districts.
