AUCKLAND TEACHER. RIFLE ALONGSIDE BODY. HAD BEEN IN ILL-HEALTH. ttjy Telegrapn —Press Association). AUCKLAND, Sept. 18. The death occurred this morning in tragic circumstances of Clarence Farnsworth Stratford, aged 33, a teacher at tfie Kowhai Intermediate School and a prominent swimming administrator. His body was found under a tree with a rifle alongside. Deceased had been in ill-health since a recent severe operation.
