TO HELP THE SICK.
FRUIT FOR HOSPITAL PATIENTS
APPEAL FROM THE MATRON
Miss K. M. Ansenne, Matron at the Thames Hospital, has asked the "Thames Star" to broadcast an appeal to those who have any fruit to spare to send it along to the Hospital'.' Last year quite an appreciable amount of fruit was sent in and this had enabled the patients to have stewed fruit throughout the summer. It had also been possible to make a certain amount of jam.
