Sister McLean who is in charge of the Thames Maternity Annexe, has resigned her position in order to take up a position with the Child Welfare Department in Hamilton. / Mr E. A. Mahoney, Hauraki Plains County Clerk, who appeared in connection with rating objections in the Thames Court to-day, wag taken ill and had to enter the Thames Hospital for an immediate operation for acute appendicitis.
