* NEW ALTAR AND FONT.
TO-MORROW’S CEREMONY.
To-morrow afternoon, • .. at 2.30 '-o’clock, His Grace the "Archbishop -will dedicate the new altar and a font dat St. Andrew’s Church, Kirikiri. The altar has been purchased by *4he local parishioners, and the font is -the one that was used for so many -years at St. George’s, Thames. A ’bus will leave .St. George’s, Mary 'Street, at 2 p.m., to take Thames -people to Kirikiri, the fare being 1/6 return.
The ceremony will be a most ,"interesting one, and it is hoped as many ■from Thames as possible will attend. The Archbishop will conduct. confirmation on the Haurakl Plains on "Tuesday evening.
