Following on a communication from Dr Valintine, Director-General of the Rev. Edgar Ward to-day .interviewed the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, .Minister of -Health, with regard to the -treatment of tuberculosis by his secret formula. -
Mr 'Ward told the Minister that he Consulted the Department 2J years .•ago, when he had solid ground for believing his treatment was effective. The Department gave , him no encouragement, and declined to discuss the ~;matter till he had offered conclusive 1 proof of. the efficacy of the treatment. ' The Minister expressed surprise, and asked Mr Ward if he was prepared to discuss the formula and with the superintendent of -a sanatorium.
Mr Ward agreed, subject to the asvsurance of the secrecy, which was •igiven by the Minister. Mr Ward will probably place the -formula and treatment before a specialist next week.
