A SERIOUS POSITION. TYPHOID IN PETROGRAD. LONDON, Sept. 27. (A. and N.Z. Cable.) The recent floods in Petrograd are causing much distress and suffering. Twenty persons were killed and many injured. Typhoid is sweeping the city, the flood water having invaded the cemeteries and carried off many coffins.
