AUCKLAND PRIZE MONEY.
(Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 4. The Auckland Racing Club committee had allotted £73,200 in prize money for the ensuing season, an increase of £11,650. The allotments are as folloAv: — Spring Meeting £12,050, Summer Meeting £30,750, Autumn Meeting £13,000, Winter Meeting £17,300. The value of the Auckland Cup has been raised to 3500 sovs. and th-j Great Northern hurdles and steeplechase to 2500 sovs. each. In 1923-24 the Great 'Northern Derby stake will.be 3000 sovs.
