JAPANESE STRIKES.
THE DEMANDS GRANTED. (A. and N.Z. Cable.) TOKIO, August 1. Continued violence at Kobe resulted in' the Mitsubishi shipyards granting many of the- strikers’ demands', including an eight-hour day, pensions and workers’ participation in the management. The Kawasaki Company is expected also to grant the demands. Thei vernacular Press hints that Soviet influences are behind the Japanese strikers. •
