There was beautiful Weather for the opening day of .the Napier Park Autumn, Meeting, and a large attendance. The course was in splendid condition. The sum of £5,879 was put' through the totalisator. In the Handicap Hurdles Secrecy fell, the jockey (G. Hope) sustaining injuries. fie was admitted to lhe Hospital, where tbe doctor found his injuries were notveryserious. Results were:— SAtMicG Stakes. —Picklock 9, St. Concwk 2, Daunt 3. Three others ran. Won by a head. Time, lmin 4 4-sßecs ; dividend, £4 18s. HtfßDi.Es ---Tally-ho 1, Prince Charlie 2, Tenby 3. , Five others ran Secrecy and Headford fell. Time, 3minssß 2-ssecs; dividend, £10 18s. Rbdclute Stakes.— Primula 1, Forest Rose 2, Daphne 3. Won easily. Time, lmin 47 3-ssecs; dividend, £2 Is. -
Flying TLandiqay. —Torpina 1, Barshot 2, Sir Launcelot 3. New Forest also ran. Won by a neck. Time, lmirflG l-ssecs ; dividend, £3 9s. Welter. —Driiry Lane 1, Lotion 2, Maid Marion 3. Three others ran. Won by a head. Time, 2mins 15secs; dividend, £4 17s.
