MANAGERS' REPORTS.

DARWIN. The manager roports: " The drive on the new leader has been extended a distance of <?ft since my last. This leader is comparatively untouched, and as it is entering on a section of country of an excellent class for gold our chance of an improvement is a very good one. The leader itself is a nice compact bod} r of stone, and one that shows every sign of improvement as it is driven upon.—M. J. Mui,mxs." THE CHANCE.

The manager reports :—" The Lord Nelson reef is improving, making a good strong body of stone. It is of silicious nature, with bright mineral showing through it. This reef is in a good white sandstone country. I intend to drive about 20 feet ou its course and then jut it, which will show us what it is made of T. Boyle." Ac No. 4 levej the crosscut has been at a standstill for the greater part of the week in order to allow of a little work being done ou the reef litely cut hillward of the break.
