Wesleyan Conference.

Wellington, March 5. The Wesleyan. Conference opened last evening, delegates being present from all parts of the colony. The Rev. W. Baumber, retiring President, delivered an address dealing chiefly with the union of Methodist Churches which was brought about last year. The Rev. P. W. Fairclough (Kaiapoi) was elected President for the ensuing year, and the Rev. D. J Murray Secretary of the Conference.
