At a meeting of the Napier Chamber Chamber of Commerce a resolution was passed asking the Government to modify iha proposed tariff as regards the [roj ctel dimes on flannelette amd fhirtings on the ground that the imposition of such duties will press hardly on the working classes and tend to restrict the avenues of employment.
