'-' ; Paris, December 5: All the recipients of, cheques from Baron Rfiinach. deny that they were bribes. It is believed that in several instances the name of the real recipient is not,disclosed, and fictitious name 3 substituted. M. Charles de Lesseps denied the statements that he had sent an emissary: to members of the Committee on,the Panama Lottery Loan Bill offering them large sums uf money to support the measure.
The Radicals wish t) suspend the work of the Committee until the trial of the directors of the Company is concluded.
