Travel To Australia (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 1. Commenting on the Sydney cable message regarding the problems of travel between Australia and New Zealand, the local manager of the Union Steam Ship Company stated that his company was the chief booking agent for civilian passengers between New Zealand and Australia, and as far as his company was concerned no encouragement whatsoever had been given to New Zealanders to proceed to Australia. On the contrary, many intending passengers had cancelled their- arrangements on advice of the company’s staff, and requests for return tickets had in every case been declined.
