Permanent Seat Of Uncio? (7.10 p.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 1. Amons the reasons for Mr Mackenzie King’s visit to London are reported to be his desire to urge the United Nations Preparatory Commission to choose Vancouver Island as the permanent seat of Uncio, says the Ottawa corresnondent of the “New York Times.” Mr King is prcnared to nromise to build a completely new, welloouinped city. The leaders of the other Canadian political parties support the scheme.
