ITALIAN REPARATIONS
Greek Demands (11 p.m.) LONDON. Sept. 28. The Greek Foreign Minister (Mr John Politis) told the Press that Greece was claiming £669.000,000 in reparations from Italy. Claims “for premeditated destruction, spoliations and personal damages” would be pressed at the peace conference. Some items would be claimed jointly against Germany and Italy, but Italy would be called on to pay all reparations for unprovoked aggression. Greece was claiming £173,031,000 for the reduction of the Greek population during the Italian-German occupation, £286.730,000 for the reduction of production, and £74,034,000 for personal damages.
