INLAND TRANSPORT
European Organisation LONDON, September 27. Representatives of 11 countries signed an agreement in London establishing a European Central Inland Transport Organisation, which will allocate and control all forms of land, rail and water transport throughout Western Europe. The signatories were Britain, Russia, France. America, Czechoslovakia, Belgium, Greece, Luxembourg, Holland, Norway and Yugoslavia. The Polish signature has been delayed because the representatives had not received instructions from Warsaw. The agreement remains in force for two years from the date of signature Shipping Federation The International Shipping Federation, resuming its meetings lor the first time in six year.' , decided unanimously to expel Germany from the Federation. Shipowners discussed the policy toward the preparatory technical maritime conference, which the 1.L.0. convened for November 15. and which will examine how far such matters is wages, hours, manning, leave and accommodation can be dealt with by international agreement. Mr Basil Sanderson (Britain) was re-elected president of the Federation.
