Women’s Division At the monthly meeting of the Geraldine branch of the Women’s Division Mrs R. A. Dixon presided. Two members, Mesdames H. Worner and T. C. Firmstone, were elected. A vote of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the late Mr W. Thomas, The secretary was asked to write to Mrs Geo. Murdoch, who was in hospital, and whose house had been damaged in the storm. The president said that Miss L. Maxwell would be present at the next meeting to distribute dahlia bulbs which had been sold for patriotic purposes. The president was appointed to attend a meeting of the agricultural clubs. Members were asked to support the appeal for Christmas cheer for the lepers. Mrs Kemshed. president of the National Council of Women, gave a talk, principally on the Question of arranging Deace in the world to-day. Competitions resulted: Small bloom Mrs C. Stock 1. Mrs Sadler 2 and 3. Cluster. Mrs R. Volckman 1. Mrs Sadler 2 and 3. Shrubs. Mrs C. Stock 1, Miss E.l McLean 2 and 3.
