CROSSING TASMAN
Returning N.Z. Soldiers (11.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Sept. 26. Four thousand members of the New Zealand Second Division who spent Tuesday in Melbourne on their way home departed for New Zealand in the Strathmore this morning. When the ship sailed many fr’-nds saw them off It is not known whether any missed the ship, but officers explained that those left behind would start their accrued leave immediately and would have very little left when they finally reached New Zealand for discharge.
