TIMARU-GLENITI CLUBS Tire match to be played at Highfield on Saturday will be a bogey handicap. Reduction in handicap: I. Wilby 7 to 6. The best scores in the Stableford card match were as follows: I. Wilby 37, B. Watson and H. G. Naylor 35 and D. J. Mcßeath 34. The Gleniti women’s match on Saturday will be the monthly L.G.U. medal. TIMARU LADIES’ CLUB The final of the Templer Cup played In conjunction with the fifth bogey, was won by Mrs McDougall, who returned a card of 6 down. Mrs M. Grant was next with 7 down. Results of a Stableford bogey are as follows: Mrs McDougall 15 (17) 32, Miss H. Fox 10 (20) 30, Mrs Galloway 7 (22) 29. Owing to the links being closed after recent rain, there will be no match to-morrow. The Timaru Ladies’ Golf Guild is disbanding this month, after having worked for the duration of the war.
