CLASHES REPORTED
Indo-Chinese And French SINGAPORE, Sept. 24. Reports of clashes between French and Indo-Chinese nationalists are being received from Saigon. French troops surrounded the Saigon Town Hall which was occupied by nationalists, who opened fire. The French retaliated, and there were casualties on both sides. Some nationalists were killed and many rounded up.
