If the Government needed additional revenue an extra 5 per cent, tax should be placed on the toialisator. and the racing clubs could be allowed another 50 racine days In the. year. The Hon. T F. Doyle i Southland' said it was not a time for taxation reduction because the war commitments and the rehabiliation of servicemen would not permit it
