ARMY APPOINTMENTS
Gazette Notices (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON. Sept. 14. The following military appointments have been gazetted:— New Zealand Temporary Staff: Temp.-Captain IL I. Armour is appointed Assistant Director of the Armv Education Welfare Service, Southern Military District, and .granted the temporary rank of major. He was formerly an administrative officer. New Zealand Medical Corps: Lieut.Colonel I. S. Wilson relinquishes the temporary rank of brigadier and assumes the temporary rank of colonel on relinquishing the appointment of Director of General Medical Services (Army and Air) held during the absence of Major-General F. T. Bowerbank. Colonel Wilson has since proceeded to the Middle East on being seconded for duty with the Second N.Z.E.F.
