ISDALE APPEAL
'Decision Reserved (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 13 The Appeal Court concluded to-day the hearing of the appeal from the decision of the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) at Auckland on July 17 directing that the name of George Brownlee Isdale, of Ngaruawahia, a medical practitioner, be removed from the Medical Register. At the conclusion of the case for the appellant, the court informed the Solicitor-General, Mr H. H. Cornish, K.C., that they did not wish to hear the respondent on question of fact The Solicitor-General then said that the only question of law was the submission of the respondent that the term “infamous conduct” was broad enough to include conduct sufficient to put’ a person upon trial for a criminal offence Decision was reserved.
