WAIHAO DOWNS
The April meeting of the Waihao Downs Women’s Institute was presided over by Mrs H. Green. It was decided to hold an evening birthday party in the school room. A demonstration of making bags of all descriptions was given by Miss Norma Wright. The competitions resulted— Pikelets, Mrs W. Newbum; specimen bloom, Miss Florence Turner, Mrs Green and Miss Holdsworth equal 2. Mrs Cromie and Mrs Green were the hostesses.
