K.C. Sits As Judge By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received November 22, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 21. Legal history was made in the law courts when at the request of the counsel concerned Mr Paul Ernest Bandlands, K.C., deputised for a judge who was ill. it was considered inadvisable to delay the hearings. Mr Sandlands sat at the associate’s table below the Bench and did not wear wig and gown. Counsel called him Sir Instead of My Lord.
