Capture Of British Air Marshal By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received November 22, 9.50 p.m.) ROME, November 21. The radio states that Actlng-A-.r Marshal O. T. Boyd’s Wellington machine made a forced landing in Sicily owing to a shortage of petrol. Air Marshal Boyd was reported yesterday as having been taken prisoner. Air Marshal Boyd was on November 18 appointed deputy to the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Middle East Command, and promoted from Air Vice-Marshal to Air Marshal. Previously he was Air Officer Commanding the Balloon Command. Since 1938 he has had charge of London's balloon barrage.
