YARDING OF CATTLE About 40 cattle were yarded for the fortnightly sale at Studholme yesterday. Fat cattle sold at slightly lower rates while store cattle met with a good sale. Values were: — Cattle. —Fat steers £6/12/6 to £B/17/6, fat heifers £6/12/6 to £B/7/6, fat cows, light £5/7/6 to £6/7/6. Shorthorn heifers (15 months) £5/7/6, steers (15 months) £5/7/6, steers (15 months) £5, empty cows £6/7/6. Sheep—Fat ewes in the wool (good) 27/4 to 30/4, half and three-quarter-bred two-tooth wethers, shorn 17/3 to 18/9, aged half-bred ewes and lambs 6/- to 9/-, f.m. three-quarter-bred ewes and lambs 11/-.
