(Received February 8, 11.30 p.m.) NEW YORK. February 8.
Joe Louis, the heavyweight boxing champion, is favourite and is expected to retain the title in his 15 round contest with Arturo Godoy, of Chile, at Madison Square Garden to-morrow. Both have completed their training and are in perfect condition. Godoy, who has beaten Galento twice, has not been knocked off his feet in 65 fights. Godoy is expected to make the fighting close in an attempt to wear down Louis by making the fight a mauling match.
