LEAGUE VISIT TO ENGLAND ' By Telearaph—Press association AUCKLAND, October 28. The New Zealand Rugby League Council has received an official invitation from the English Rugby League to send a New Zealand representative side to England in 1939. Financial details have been forwarded with the invitation, and are considered to be highly satisfactory. It Is suggested by the English authorities that the opening match of the tour should be on August 21. This will necessitate the team leaving New Zealand about the middle of July. A short tour of France will be undertaken during December. The invitation is to be considered at a special meeting of the New Zealand Rugby League.
