CONSECRATION SERVICE By Telegraph—Press Association NAPIER, October 28. At an impressive ceremony this morning, the Rt. Rev. George Vincent Gerard was consecrated Bishop of Waiapu. He was attended by the Bishops of the Province of New Zealand, there being a large gathering of clergy, laity and the public present. The consecration service was conducted by the Primate, Archbishop Averill. The Bishop of Christchurch, was the preacher for the day.
