the campaign and for his sportsmanlike and gentlemanly bearing throughout. Mr Thomas also thanked Mrs Hall for the interest she had taken and for her many acts of kindness. Mr Hall expressed the thanks of Mrs Hall and himself for the present which was most unexpected and at the same time thanked those present for the help they had given him during the last few weeks.
The singing of Auld Lang Syne, brought a very pleasant evening to a close.
