The Midlands Counties Tennis Championship finals resulted as follows: Men’s Doubles Gene Borotra and Gentien (France) defeated Funcec and Mitic (Yugoslavia). 10-3, 6-4, 6-4. Combined Doubles C. E. Malt.oy (New Zealand) and Mlle Mathieu (France) defeated Butler and Miss Freda M. Lines (England), 6-4, 7-5. In the semi-final c2 the men’s doubles Borotra and Gentien defeated Malfroy and Kho-Siu-Kie (China), 2-6, 7-5, 12-10.
