The followingamounts of rain were recorded .at 9 a.m. as follows: Saturday Bth, 132 points, Sunday 9th, 50 points, Monday 10th 114 points, making a total of 296 points. Rivers and creeks have been running high and the roads have been badly scoured in places by stormwater. The conditions experienced over the week-end will have an adverse effect on farming operations. Wheat and oats have in many cases been badly tangled making the prospect of successful harvesting very gloomy. Several crops of late sown turnips have been practically ruined and late shearing is again held up.
