LIKELY DIPLOMATIC ACTION United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright TOKIO, January 7. ; The Domei News Agency reports that the mysterious disappearance of the popular actress, Yoshido Okada and her lover, Ryokichi Sugimoto, a producer, near the Soviet border, south of Sagha Lion, is likely to become a diplomatic issue. The couple appear to have crossed the frontier illegally, and their reason for doing so is unknown. The Japanese Foreign Office is instructing the Japanese Consul-General at Alexandrovsk to ask the Soviet authorities to trace and hand them over.
