GOOD LINES MAINTAIN PRICES United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received January 6, 11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, January 5. At the wool sales to-day competition for good lines was well maintained, but weak for average and inferior sorts with prices tending still lower. Comebacks and crossbreds met with good support. Greasy merino realised to 273 d per lb. The offering consisted of 11,812 bales, of which 7600 were sold, as well as 1604 privately.
